Celebrate In the City Day this half-term

The University of Wolverhampton, Wolves and The Mander Centre have combined again this year to promote the city of Wolverhampton.

The trio have come together again this year to host the “In the City” day, which will take place in the February half-term.

The event will be held in the ground-floor area of The Mander Centre and will be featuring exciting entertainment and activities for everyone of all ages to come and enjoy.

These include:

  • Numerous free family activities which including fairground games, arts & crafts, balloon modelling and a wide range of face painting and beauty demonstrations
  • A wide range of competitions for all ages to take part in
  • Meet and greet with Wolves players and mascots Wolfie and Wendy
  • Various interactive science demonstrations from the University’s science team

The event will be hosted by Signal 107 Radio and will take place on Wednesday 20 of February 2019 between 11am and 3:30pm, at the Mander Centre.

Katharine Clough, Director of External Relations at the University of Wolverhampton, said: “The In the City Day provides a fantastic showcase for some of best the city has to offer and brings together the University, Wolves and The Mander Centre.

“We’re really looked forward to seeing lots of families come along to the city centre to enjoy what promises to be a fabulous event during half-term week.”
