Noted Sikh entrepreneur gives guest lecture

The University of Wolverhampton’s Centre for Sikh and Panjabi Studies, supported by ART Business Loans, is hosting a public guest lecture by a noted Sikh entrepreneur.

Paul Bassi CBE, Deputy Lieutenant and CEO of Real Estate Investors PLC, will be a guest speaker on Thursday 5th December 2019 in the University’s Chancellor’s Hall at its City Campus in Wolverhampton.

As well as being Chief Executive of Real Estate Investors plc, the Birmingham based AIM listed property investment REIT, he is also non-executive Chairman of Bond Wolfe and formerly non-executive Chairman of CP Bigwood Chartered Surveyors.

He served as President of the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce and was formerly the Regional Chairman & Strategy Advisor to Coutts Bank (West Midlands) and is a former Director of the Birmingham Hippodrome.

Paul was appointed High Sheriff for the County of West Midlands in 2009. In 2010, he was awarded a CBE in the 2010 New Year’s Honours List in recognition of his services to business and the community in the West Midlands.

The FREE lecture will take place at 6.00 pm until 8.15 pm and is open to students, staff and members of the public.  Refreshments and Networking will be followed by the lecture. Book tickets here.
