#WeAreTogether: National Graduates Day: 30 July 2020

24/07/2020

The University of Wolverhampton is supporting Universities UK's forthcoming campaign to celebrate graduate success. The #WeAreTogether: National Graduates Day is taking place on Thursday 30 July 2020.

The University will be shining a spotlight on some of our own successful alumni throughout the week beginning 27 July and would love it if staff, students and stakeholders could share their own stories on Social Media - whether you're a graduate yourself, are about to graduate or whether you're now working and want to tell us about your career path. It would be great to hear from you.

The national campaign will celebrate the resilience and achievements of the class of 2020, as well as to promote the skills, qualifications and experience that graduates gain from studying at university.

If you run your own Social Media accounts or want to share things on your own channels, UUK has circulated some assets you can use as well as a National Graduates Day AR filter, available on both Facebook and Instagram.

There is also a toolkit for supporters to help businesses, charities and other local organisations involved.

#WeAreTogether – Unibuddy live event

Taking place on National Graduates Day, the #WeAreTogether – Unibuddy live event will give prospective domestic and international applicants/offer holders a chance to connect with current students and graduates, who will share positive and welcoming messages about their experience of studying at a UK university. You can find out more information about the event here: https://events-internal.unibuddy.co/wearetogether/wearetogether

If you work with Unibuddy, please consider promoting the event to your Unibuddies/student ambassadors, so that we can ensure both current students and graduates are available on the 30 July to speak with prospective applicants and offer holders.
