5g would be the fifth generation of telecommunication. 5G is defined as the 5th generation of mobile phone and data communication standards.

Additive Manufactoring - 3-d printing but instead of the old approach of carving a usable part out of a large block of material, additive manufacturing builds an object up layer by layer.

Artificial intelligence (AI), also known as machine intelligence, is a branch of computer science that aims to imbue software with the ability to analyse its environment using either predetermined rules and search algorithms, or pattern recognising machine learning models, and then make decisions based on those analyses.

Extremely large data sets that may be analysed computationally to reveal patterns, trends, and associations, especially relating to human behaviour and interactions.

Big data analytics refers to the strategy of analyzing large volumes of data, or big data. This big data is gathered from a wide variety of sources, including social networks, videos, digital images, sensors, and sales transaction records.

The state of being protected against the criminal or unauthorized use of electronic data, or the measures taken to achieve this.

Immersive technology is an integration of virtual content with the physical environment in a way that allows the user to engage naturally with the blended reality.

IoT - Internet of Things - the interconnection via the internet of computing devices embedded in everyday objects, enabling them to send and receive data.

The concept that a computer program can learn and adapt to new data without human intervention. Machine learning is a field of artificial intelligence (AI) that keeps a computer’s built-in algorithms current regardless of changes in the worldwide economy.

The branch of technology that deals with the design, construction, operation, and application of robots.

A device which detects or measures a physical property and records, indicates, or otherwise responds to it.
