Save the date: UWR unveils new Formula 3 livery at Silverstone

The University of Wolverhampton Race Team (UWR) is gearing up to unveil its new Formula 3 livery at The Silverstone Experience.

The Silverstone Experience, the racing museum and STEM experience where the University of Wolverhampton is a founding partner, will host the F3 Cup team on Thursday 13^th May, and the team will be live-streaming an unveiling of the 2021 F3 livery so that you can see the car before it takes to the track - and the dynamic new look for the car is set to be a crowd pleaser.

There will be two live-stream sessions on Thursday 13^th May and the team hopes that you can join them:

At both virtual events, you will hear from racing driver Shane Kelly, senior motorsport technician Matt Fenton, as well as students from the F3 Cup team and staff from the Silverstone Experience. As well as showing you the new look to the UWR F3 Car, we’ll also showcase some of the cars on display at The Silverstone Experience.

University of Wolverhampton Racing’s F3 Cup team will be racing in competition for the first time since October 2019 at the new-look F3 Cup competition, now administered by Monoposto.  The inaugural race weekend is taking place at Silverstone on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th May 2021.  Although, racing circuits are still closed to spectators across the UK, you can follow the team's progress on their Social Media accounts.

Oulton Park – 24^th July

Brands Hatch – 21^st/22^nd August

Donington Park – 18^th/19^th September

Snetterton – 25^th September
