Library Update

Welcome to all students, new and returning.

Things might be a little different in the Library this year, but we’ve got facilities and services open on campus and lots of help and support for you online. If you have any questions or need help from the Library team you can use our 24/7 live chat service, ASSIST.

We’ve been working hard to continue to expand the on-campus Library offer. For Welcome Week we’ll have staff available on the Library help desks at City, Walsall & Telford Campuses. And you can still book to use PCs or study spaces in the Library for individual study.

From today we are changing the way you request books you need. You can now use Library Search to request any available item, and there’s no need to make an appointment to collect. Simply wait for the confirmation email and then come along to one of the Library helpdesks to collect your items. There’s more information on our Road to Re-Opening web page.

From the 28th September we are planning to be able to offer longer opening times with study spaces available to book during evenings and Saturdays at City and Walsall libraries. There will be more PCs and study spaces available to book as well.
