Library Update: Request a book from the Library
Since we closed the Libraries in March, we have continued to provide online access to resources and support to help you study, complete assessments and prepare for the new academic year, but we know that access to onsite Library services is important to you.
We will continue to offer online services, however as restrictions begin to ease, we’re now planning for the safe return to campus for both staff and students.
From Monday 27 July 2020 all students will be able to request access to our print collections from Harrison Library, this will be extended to our Walsall Library from Monday 3 August 2020.
To request a book or resource, you’ll need to visit Library Search to check it is available. You can then get in touch with the Library team through Assist to reserve your item and secure a collection slot.
You will only be able to collect items during a pre-booked collection slot. You will be able return items on loan to return boxes at the Harrison and Walsall Library, Monday to Friday between 10:30 am and 3:30 pm.
This is the first phase for reopening our on-campus library services, please be aware that no study spaces, PCs or other facilities will be open at this time. When safe to do so, we will begin to offer socially distanced spaces to study. Further announcements will be made when we can safely open more library facilities.
