SOLVD, an initiative run by the University of Wolverhampton and Telford and Wrekin Council, are hosting a bootcamp webinar for small and medium businesses on securing national research and development grant funding.

The webinar on Tuesday, 15 December, will help participants to bust some myths, explain the jargon, understand the pitfalls and familiarise themselves with some common themes for success.

Forthcoming funding calls for businesses will also be highlighted.

Iain Wheeler, Knowledge Transfer Manager, said: “Navigating and accessing grant funding for research, development and innovation can often be bewildering, but can often be vital to help businesses in developing their next innovative product or service.”

This event is free and part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) as part of the SOLVD project. Places for the webinar that takes place on Tuesday, 15 December from 10am to 10:45 am, can be booked via EventBrite.

SOLVD is an initiative between the University of Wolverhampton, Telford & Wrekin Council and companies in Shropshire, to improve knowledge and skills for the digital economy in the region, to improve productivity and ultimately, profit.
