Unit 2: Starting your research

R46: Introduction to Anova and Regression in SPSS

This workshop will help you to understand and to practice investigating data using some more advanced statistical techniques in SPSS, namely Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and Regression. There will also be an opportunity to explore related techniques that you may wish to use in your own research.

This workshop builds upon basic skills and statistical techniques performed in SPSS. It is therefore recommended that you have some prior experience of using SPSS or have completed an introductory session before attending this workshop.

If you have a dataset on which you would like to practice using these techniques, please bring this with you to the workshop. Otherwise we will work on an example dataset from a previous study.
