The BIM Studio
The BIM Studio at the University of Wolverhampton has evolved from the Virtual Design Enterprise Centre (ViDEC), which was established in 2001. Since it’s inception our team of academics and researchers have delivered CAD and technology training to hundreds professionals within the construction industry.
The University of Wolverhampton is home to a suite of laboratories, and is one of the few universities in the UK to house a multi-purpose flume, which is used to demonstrate the effect of placing bridge support pillars within water courses – essential for the impact assessment for flood potential.
We have series of videos on our YouTube Channel where our students showcase thier individual projects at the various exhibitions.
