The Young People's Grant Scheme Awards Presentation Evenings

University Centre Telford has been privileged to host the Awards Presentation Evenings on the last three occasions, September 2018, February 2019 and November 2019. They are always such inspirational evenings and are attended by the amazing young people who have achieved so much, their parents and carers and the Leader and Cabinet members.

We were privileged to meet Jacob Chandler at the presentation evening in November 2019. Jacob is a local sculptor who has created the beautiful sculpture in Telford town centre. He spoke passionately about how the grant that he received in 2017 helped him to follow his dream and earn a living from his hobby.
