Adrian Hallmark

Business leader who has held CEO roles at Bentley Motors and Aston Martin Lagonda Limited

Adrian has distinguished himself as a transformative leader in the global luxury automotive sector, with a career spanning over 25 years at some of the world’s most prestigious brands.

Beginning with influential roles at Porsche and Volkswagen, he later held senior leadership positions at Jaguar Land Rover before becoming CEO of Bentley Motors in 2018. Under his stewardship, Bentley underwent a groundbreaking transformation, focusing on sustainability and electrification, including the launch of the brand’s first fully electric vehicle.

His leadership guided the company through complex challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic and global supply chain disruptions, ensuring resilience and growth.

In 2024, Adrain took on the role of CEO at Aston Martin Lagonda Limited, spearheading ambitious strategies to enhance innovation, drive profitability, and strengthen the brand’s global presence. In recognition of his exceptional achievements, the University awarded him an honorary Doctoral Degree in Engineering in 2018.
