University of Wolverhampton Science Park provides the complete solution for businesses from science, technology, digital and creative sectors, providing a dynamic and supportive environment to exploit the intellectual capacity within the University for the economic benefit of businesses, students and the wider community.

Established in October 1995, today the University of Wolverhampton Science Park is home to over 100 businesses working in a broad range of technological and creative disciplines.

At our central location in Wolverhampton, we provide office accommodation, workshop and laboratory areas, in which new and established companies can thrive, ensuring a sustainable future for all and maximum positive impact to the local economy.

Conference and meeting facilities are available at all of our centres, for both tenant organisations and clients from outside the Science Park. On-site, complementary provision of professional services includes financial, legal and translation services, along with business mentoring for new-start ventures.

The Science Centre, is a partnership between the University and the Black Country Local Enterprise Partnership, this Award Winning centre offers a unique combination of laboratory, workshop and office space, specialising in sectors supporting the local Smart Specialisation agenda (aerospace, automotive, construction and life sciences – including their supply chains). The Science Centre has a meeting room on the ground floor for up to 12 delegates and a cafe serving Barista style coffee and light refreshments. The Technology Centre houses a wide range of technology related businesses; users include scientific testing and consultancy services, production of small form factor electronics, mobile communications, etc. In addition there are specialist professional service providers such as patent attorneys, Health and Safety experts, tax specialists, chartered accountants, financing bodies to mention a few. The Technology Centre is the  main conference centre venue, housing several rooms of varying sizes and a 200 seat, fully raked auditorium, all with dedicated AV equipment. Lockside Cafe is located on the ground floor, serving hot and cold food daily.

The Creative Industries Centre houses a cluster of companies from the creative and digital media sector within vibrant office accommodation, with social spaces and café; the perfect venue to meet and greet clients, hold informal meetings or simply catch up. The Creative Industries Centre is also home to the SPARK Business Incubation Centre which supports the launch and nurturing of new /young businesses in the creative sector thanks to its structured programme of support and a subsidised start-up package. There are three meeting rooms, accommodating between 10 and 40 delegates.  The cafe outlet, Viaduct View, is located on the first floor of the Creative Industries Centre, serving hot and cold food and a choice of hand-crafted beverages from the Starbucks range™.

Tenants at the University of Wolverhampton Science Park have an enviable range of on-site benefits, including co-location to the  Black Country Growth Hub, where businesses can access a wealth of business support, advice and funding opportunities. This unparalleled breadth of business knowledge and expertise is available through a single point of access where business advisors work with companies to identify potential opportunities, ranging from funding and finance to planning and exporting, all helping business growth. In addition there are a variety of business events held throughout the year, providing excellent networking opportunities and updating of relevant business knowledge.
