Angela Spence

Transformational strategist shaping public service, policing oversight, university governance, and community resilience.

Angela is an individual whose leadership, integrity, and impact exemplify the very best of the University of Wolverhampton.

A proud Wolverhampton native, she is a strategist of rare calibre—politically astute, deeply analytical, and unwaveringly authentic.

As Co-Founder and Director of At Eve Consulting Limited, she has worked across public, private, voluntary, and community sectors, transforming organisations and driving meaningful, lasting change.

Through Square Pegs Round Holes CIC, she have championed children, young people, and families—helping them build resilience and unlock their potential.

Angela’s public service record is equally distinguished: Presiding Justice, Chair of the Wolverhampton Police Independent Advisory Group, Chair of the Independent Oversight and Scrutiny Board for the West Midlands Police Race Action Plan, and Deputy Chair of the Committee of University Chairs.

She also serves as Chair of the University’s Board of Governors, guiding its vision for the future.
