Students interested in sustainability, engineering and the built environment are invited to take part in a Decarbonisation Site Tour and Expert Talk at the University of Wolverhampton’s Walsall Campus (meet at WN004 lecture theatre) on Tuesday 16 June (9:30am – 1:00pm).

Delivered in partnership with Vital Energi and Women in Building Services Engineering (WiBSE), this interactive session offers a unique opportunity to see how low‑carbon energy systems are being implemented in a real-world setting.

The event will include a technical talk, Q&A with industry professionals, and a guided tour of a live energy installation on campus. It’s a great chance to build your knowledge of decarbonisation while hearing directly from engineers working on major sustainability projects, while also contributing to your professional development through CPD-accredited learning.

After the tour, there will also be time to network with professionals and fellow students over lunch, helping you explore potential career pathways in engineering, sustainability and energy.

Students can attend free of charge using the discount code WIBSESTUDENTS, and places can be booked via the Eventbrite page. Spaces are limited, so early booking is recommended.

If you’re looking to gain industry insight and experience sustainability in action, this is an event not to miss.
