University shortlisted for national Graduate Futures Award
The University of Wolverhampton has been shortlisted for a prestigious national award recognising its commitment to inclusivity and student opportunity.
The University has been named as a finalist in the Inclusivity and Opportunity Award category at the 2026 Graduate Futures Awards, delivered by the Graduate Futures Institute (formerly AGCAS).
The awards celebrate outstanding practice in careers and employability across the higher education sector, with this year attracting a record number of high-quality nominations.
Being shortlisted reflects the University’s ongoing commitment to supporting students from all backgrounds to succeed, providing access to high-quality careers guidance, employability support, and opportunities that help them to achieve their full potential. This work is underpinned by strong outcomes for students, and recognition for employability in its recent QS Five-Star rating, which highlighted the University’s focus on preparing students for successful careers.
Gemma Kay, Associate Director of Student Success at the University of Wolverhampton, said:
“We are absolutely delighted to be shortlisted for this national award, which recognises our commitment to inclusivity and opportunity for all of our students.
“Our focus is on ensuring that every student, regardless of their background, has access to the support, guidance and opportunities they need to succeed and progress into meaningful careers.
“This recognition reflects the dedication of our teams and the impact of our work in helping students to achieve their potential, and we are proud to be recognised alongside leading institutions across the sector.”
Winners will be announced at the Graduate Futures Institute Annual Conference gala dinner on 2 July in Nottingham.
