Contact Us
There are many ways to contact the library teams for help and support. We have FAQs and support articles, live chat, email, phone, and, of course, you can always visit one of our library helpdesks.
Library Assist
Library Assist is often the best place to start if you need support or have a question. Start off by searching our Assist Answers which has hundreds of support articles that may address the query that you have. We hope you will be able to find the information you need within or support articles but if you can’t find what you are looking for, consider getting in touch through one of the following support channels.
Library Chat
Library Chat is one of the fastest ways to get in contact with the library team during our regular opening hours. Chat is for general queries and is often answered by our library assistants. If we are unable to resolve your query immediately, we will offer to refer your question as a support ticket to one of our specialist team of librarians who will come back to you as soon as possible.
Library Chat is available 24/7! We manage this with the support of a team of international librarians based around the world who answer chats on our behalf outside of our normal coverage. They will do their best to provide you with an answer but may refer your chat to the university for more specific information.
Find Library Chat in Library Assist or by using the library chat widget located on the top-right-hand side of all of the library web pages.
Ask the Library
If Library Chat isn’t for you, you can also contact us with our Ask the Library webform. These messages will come through to the library team as a support ticket which are monitored daily during our regular opening hours. You should expect an initial response within 2 working days. For complex queries, tickets may be referred to our Customer Service Librarians or a member of our Skills Team depending on the nature of the support.
Phone
If you prefer to speak to a member of the team on the phone you can call us on 01902 32 1333 or 0845 408 1631 (UK local call rate). We run our phone on a ‘hunt group’ so calls can be picked up at any of our libraries so please make sure to mention if you would like information for a specific campus library when you call.
Visit
We currently do not offer visitor or public library memberships.
If you are a member of a institution that participates in the SCONUL Access Scheme, then you may be able to visit one of our libraries - for more information, please go to our SCONUL Access information page
