Why choose this course?

Build the academic foundations and global business expertise needed to progress into Masters-level management study with the International MBA International Business Administration Extended at the University of Wolverhampton. The extended route is designed for applicants who do not meet the standard entry requirements for the International MBA, including those with a third-class or 2:2 degree, an equivalent professional qualification, or relevant managerial experience through the work experience pathway. An additional Masters Learning module helps you develop the academic skills required for postgraduate study before you progress through the wider International MBA programme.

You will develop a broad understanding of how organisations operate across international markets, with standout modules including Strategic Global Marketing, Financial Decision Making and Strategic Operations Management. You will also explore contemporary international human resource management, helping you understand how finance, marketing, people and operations contribute to organisational strategy. Learning is practical and enquiry-based, using case studies, group activities, business reports and problem-solving tasks to help you apply key concepts to real organisational challenges.

You will bring your learning together through either the Masters Research Project or Masters Professional Project, developing advanced skills in research, critical thinking, project management and evidence-based decision-making. The International MBA is designed to strengthen career prospects across managerial roles in a wide range of international business sectors, while also providing a foundation for further professional study in areas such as accounting, marketing and human resources, or progression to doctoral study.
