Fees and Costs for International Students 2020/21

Fees for non-European Union (EU) students starting a course at the University of Wolverhampton in 2020/21. Please note: The tuition fee charged in subsequent years will be subject to an annual inflationary increase.


  • Undergraduate full-time courses: £12,250 per academic year
  • Postgraduate taught full-time courses: £13,650 per academic year
  • Postgraduate taught full-time courses for Business School: from £13,650 per academic year
  • Postgraduate taught full-time courses with professional placement: £14,834 per academic year

All international students pay a deposit of £3,000. For terms and conditions and further information please contact This deposit will be deducted from the relevant tuition fee upon arrival.

For visa country nationals, payment of this deposit will help to demonstrate to the Entry Clearance Officer who will conduct your visa interview that you are a serious applicant with a genuine commitment to the University

Living costs

It is important to carefully consider the financial implications of studying in the United Kingdom. In additional to paying tuition fees, you will need to cover your living expenses, including accommodation, food, heating, travel, books and stationery.

The UK Border Agency requires you to have a minimum amount of savings in your bank account before it will issue you with a student visa to enable you to study in the UK. More information can be found on the UKCISA website.

Tuition Fee Deposit​


Students must pay their tuition fee deposit (£3,000) before we can process their visa application​

Remaining Tuition fee​


Although students must have this amount in place for their visa application, you can either pay this in full during registration or set up a payment plan and spread the cost over 3 months.​

Living Costs​


This is the amount as estimated by the UK Visa and Immigration (if you are studying outside of London) - £1,015 per month for 9 months. London -11,385 living expenses or £1,265 for every month of the course if your course is less than 9 months​



The money will be required to be in the student’s own bank account or parents/legal guardian for 28 days minimum before they apply for their visa. This is checked our dedicated team before releasing CAS​
