You will be able to participate in a series of Interactive lectures which will enable participation in a variety of classroom activities including discussion and feedback in pairs, small group work and novel classroom quizzes. Healthcare service users, who are employed by the university, participate in a session on the programme which powerfully portrays the experiences of the patient and carer first hand.

You will be able to:
- Analyse the prevalence of long-term health conditions in England and their multifaceted impact, integrating evidence to support explanations and understanding.
- Critically examine how wider determinants of health contribute to health inequalities in long-term health conditions, integrating evidence to support explanations and understanding. Critically evaluate the impact of healthcare strategic direction in England on the management and outcomes of long-term conditions and apply to own area of practice.
