Walsall Library Helpdesk Changes in February
Starting from 7th February, preliminary work will begin on the ground floor of Walsall library to enable the relocation of the main library helpdesk.
The area impacted will be the space on the right-hand side as you enter the ground floor library. This currently doesn’t host any student study spaces however, we will make a small number of student PC spaces unavailable directly adjacent to this area whilst contractors carry out the work.
All library services will continue as normal.
The work is expected to take approximately 3 weeks and there may be some low-level noise disruption around this area throughout. Any protracted noisy work will be kept to early in the day where possible, to minimise the impact on the learning environment.
We apologise in advance for any disruption caused by this work. Please take advantage of the Library's short-term laptop loans and make use of the additional study spaces on the 1st floor if you are looking for a quiet space to study.
Once completed, the space will be adapted to locate a new library helpdesk inside the library which we hope will make it easier to access support without needing to leave the main study spaces.
