Welcome to the School of Creative Industries

The School of Creative Industries is born out of rich heritage and internationally recognised School of Art and the growing Innovative and Industry focussed Screen School. It combines the best of what we already are and allows us to collaborate our opportunities and connections for innovation and impact.

We are a community of thinkers, makers and communicators. The creative industries are a cultural cure for our society. The arts are powerful and sit quietly (sometimes loudly) in almost every part of our daily lives. We are an economic powerhouse that is buoyant, helping to grow the UK economy.

Our diversity is our strength, this proud representation which Wolverhampton has long stood for provides an inclusive space for creativity and collaboration. We are lifelong learners: curious and engaged, we lean into change to embrace and influence the world around us.

Connecting with our local and global communities our staff, students and graduates create meaningful opportunities – and because of us – change our gaze, interpretation and thinking on the world around us.
