Articulation and Progression Partner Agreements
The University of Wolverhampton welcomes collaboration with recognised higher education institutions worldwide to develop articulation and progression partnerships that create progression opportunities for students and strengthen international academic cooperation.
Articulation and progression agreements provide a structured pathway for students to progress from a qualification at their home institution to an undergraduate or postgraduate degree at the University of Wolverhampton. These partnerships are developed through academic mapping to ensure that students are well prepared for successful progression while maintaining the academic standards and quality expected of a UK university.
We work closely with our partner institutions to develop progression arrangements that support institutional objectives, enhance the student experience, and create sustainable recruitment opportunities.
Articulation Agreement
An agreement with a partner institution under which the University recognises specified prior credits and grants advanced standing to cohorts of students who have successfully completed a designated programme at the partner institution. This enables eligible students to progress directly to an agreed stage of a mapped University programme.
Progression Agreement
An agreement that establishes progression routes for students who have successfully completed a qualification at another institution or provider; such as an undergraduate degree, an international foundation programme, or a pre-master's programme, to enter Year 1 of a University undergraduate or postgraduate programme.
