PhD student wins Best Poster presentation award

Ify Nwiwu, a PhD postgraduate research student in Health at the University of Wolverhampton, has been awarded the Best Poster at a symposium held at the University of Cambridge.

Ify, a student within the Faculty of Education Health and Wellbeing School of Health and Society, presented her research to academics, clinicians, patients and other attendees at the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Breast Cancer Symposium. Her poster was recognised for its excellence amidst a highly competitive field of presentations.

"I am incredibly pleased to have received this award," said Ify Nwiwu. "The symposium was very intense, with rigorous questioning about my research methodology, data collection, proposed theories, and aims. It was a challenging but rewarding experience, and I am grateful for the recognition."

The Cancer Research UK Cambridge Breast Cancer Symposium featured leading breast cancer researchers, clinicians, and patients, providing a platform for the exchange of cutting-edge research and clinical insights.
