Career Hero Week 2026, delivered by the Careers, Employability & Success Team, runs from Monday 20–Friday 24 April, celebrating employability, skills and real-world experience through interactive activities including a Careers Escape Room, CV Glow Up Bar, and enterprise and alumni sessions.

Earth Day Special (Wednesday 22 April)

Millennium City Building, Courtyard Canteen, City Campus, 11am-2pm

Marking Earth Day, the Careers, Employability & Success Team will showcase Student 4 Community projects focused on AI and sustainability, alongside donation stalls. These projects are supported by the Santander Career Support Award, providing £250 to help students cover the real-world costs of opportunities such as volunteering and employability projects.

The week concludes on Friday 24 April, when the Careers, Employability & Success Team will celebrate “Career Heroes” across the university through a social media campaign highlighting inspiration, support and achievement within our community.
