Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey

We want every postgraduate student to have the best possible experience at the University of Wolverhampton. To help us achieve that, we’d like to hear what you think we’re doing well and where we can improve.

The Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES) is a national survey that asks postgraduate taught students for feedback on their course and overall experience. It takes around 15 minutes to complete.

The survey is open to postgraduate students taught on campus and online, who started their studies before January 2026. 

From Monday 23 February 2026 eligible students will receive an email from ‘Online Surveys’ with a unique link to the survey. The survey will remain open until 1 May 2026.

You can also access the survey here. If you are using this route to access the survey, you will be asked for a username and password.

  • Your username will be your University student number.
  • Your password will be your date of birth in the following format: ddmmyyyy (e.g., 2 March 1985 will be 02031985).
