Important message for students on a Student Visa

We are aware that some students who have travelled outside the UK may be experiencing difficulties returning to the UK due to the ongoing situation in Iran.

If you are affected, please contact the Student Visa Compliance and Advice Team as soon as possible for individual guidance. The team will monitor your situation and provide advice about your return to the UK. You can contact them at visa-enquiries@wlv.ac.uk.

Please note that students on a Student visa are not permitted to study online, so online teaching cannot be offered as an alternative while you are outside the UK. For now, it is important that you keep the University updated about your situation by contacting visa-enquiries@wlv.ac.uk.

If you are unable to attend your timetabled classes, you should record your absence in your Student Check-In attendance account and include the reason for your non-attendance. If your return to the UK is significantly delayed, the Student Visa Compliance and Advice Team will advise you on the possibility of taking a leave of absence until further guidance is issued by UKVI.
