University launches £60 million Digital Strategy

The University has announced a landmark £60 million investment in a major digital transformation programme designed to modernise its infrastructure, enhance services and elevate the experience of every member of its community. As a key element of the University’s Strategy 2035, Creating Opportunities, Transforming Futures, this ambitious initiative will help establish Wolverhampton as a leading global digital organisation.

The new Digital Strategy 2030 The Digital Leader Transforming Lives will harness cutting‑edge technologies, including AI, to create a seamless, personalised and future‑ready environment for applicants, students, staff and research partners.

Professor Ebrahim Adia, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Wolverhampton, said: “Our Strategy 2035 is centred on creating opportunities and transforming futures, and digital transformation is fundamental to achieving that ambition.

“At a time of real pressure across the higher education sector, we are making a bold £60 million investment to strengthen our digital capability, enhance the experience of our students and staff, and position Wolverhampton as a leading global digital organisation.
