7th in the UK for Architecture, Building and Planning (Daily Mail University Guide 2027)
Don't have the grades or qualifications for direct entry onto Construction Management? This is your way in. This four-year full-time (or eight-year part-time) route builds an integrated foundation year onto the front of our triple-accredited BSc (Hons) Construction Management degree, so you finish with exactly the same qualification as students who started on the standard three-year course — accredited by CIOB, RICS and CABE, and taught throughout at Europe's largest construction centre of excellence, our £120m Springfield site.
You'll spend your first year building the core mathematics, science, problem-solving and communication skills the rest of the degree relies on, alongside an early orientation to infrastructure and the built environment — then progress directly onto Year 1 of the full honours course.
This course is accredited by:
- Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB)
- Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS)
- Chartered Association of Building Engineers (CABE)
