Visiting professor writes piece for Tes: "Could Covid have created a 'golden generation'?"
Visiting Professor Bob Harrison has recently written a piece for the Tes (formerly known as the Times Education Supplement) highlighting the complexities behind clichés like "lost learning" and “catch up" and why we need a more nuanced and localised response rather than top-down blanket interventions.
He explores some recent research about educational technology from UNESCO that suggests digital technology alone will not transform education, improve learning and decrease inbuilt inequalities.
