Travelling home for the Christmas vacation? 

Advice from the Student Visa Compliance and Advice team

If you want to travel home or go on holiday to another country for Christmas you should:

  • Check your teaching schedule – confirm the dates for your last classes and when teaching resumes. Remember, you are expected to attend all on-campus activities.
  • Send your flight details to the Student Visa Compliance and Advice team so we can save them on your file. It’s important we know where you are in case of any enquiry while you’re away. Email your flight details to visa-enquiries@wlv.ac.uk making sure to include your student number.
  • Download a Confirmation of Study letter from your e:vision account and keep it with you when you travel. This confirms you are enrolled at the University of Wolverhampton and will help if you are asked questions about your studies at the UK Border.
