About the ERMC

Where theory, practice and innovation combine

The Emergency Management & Resilience Centre (EMRC) has been established at the University of Wolverhampton since 2012 with a specific vision to support the emergency planning, disaster management, civil protection and resilience community.

We are based at the Main University Campus in Wolverhampton Telford and have a specific focus on bringing both practitioners and academics together to highlight and develop excellence in the field of emergency, incident and disaster preparedness, response and recovery.

We also understand the needs of services, businesses and the wider community to be prepared in the wake of disruptive challenges whilst remaining resilient; we aim to support this through education, training and knowledge sharing.
