Alternative Offers

If you have applied for an undergraduate degree or postgraduate degree course at the University of Wolverhampton and are unsuccessful in gaining a place on your preferred course, we will always endeavour to make you an alternative offer for another suitable course.

Alternative Offer Information:

The University assesses each applicant on an individual basis. When making an alternative offer, we select a course that we believe will be relevant and of interest to you. This decision is based on a number of factors such as the content of your personal statement; the subjects you have studied; the qualifications you have achieved; and any work experience that you have gained.

You can find out more about the course you have been given as an alternative offer via our University course webpages and by attending a Open Day or Postgraduate Open Evening

Whilst we make every effort to choose an appropriate alternative offer course that we believe you will enjoy, we understand that we may not always get this right!

If you are not fully satisfied with the course that is offered to you, our friendly team of staff can advise you further. Please contact us through the University's live chat 'Ask' facility.

We can consider changing your offer to another course, providing you meet the entry requirements for that course, and there are places available. To do this, contact our admissions department by email: admissions@wlv.ac.uk stating your full name, student number and the course you would like to be considered for instead of the offer made to you.
