Join the University of Wolverhampton on the United National International Day for Disabled People. We are pleased to have as our Key note speaker: Sam Rapp

Sam is neuro diverse writer, a poet, playwright, short story writer, inspirational speaker, editor producer, part time lawyer, Chair Dyslexia House Association, Co-Chair of the Disability Staff Network, Ambassador for Medway Disability Action and South East Representative for the British Dyslexia Association, Co-Chair Creative Medway and Co-Director The Circle of Six Women Project and activity coordinator Non Visible disability initiative.

Sam is also creative teacher with her company Fun With Words Productions, conducting creative writing workshops, for all abilities. Sam is published in various books, anthologies, magazines, radio and a regular on BBC radio Kent, one of her plays about WW1 was performed in the UK and on TV in Gibraltar.

After Sam’s success at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2019 with her show called “The Amazing Dyslexic Poetry Show” about her experiences as a person with neuro diversity, Sam is passionate about raising awareness for inclusion for all with physical/hidden disabilities.

Sam’s book, “Rant, Dyslexic Me” is a collection of some of her poems about being dyslexic.

Sam has a unique style, her use of metaphor, drawing from the natural world about her challenges that she overcame. Sam explores different genres with her writing as well as her disability.
