School of Art Degree Show 2023

The School of Art Degree Show is back for 2023! A range of work will be displayed in the Wolverhampton School of Art galleries from Saturday 10 June until Friday 23 June. This year marks 170 years of Art and Design education at the University of Wolverhampton. 

The School of Art Degree Show is fast approaching for 2023! It has been over a year since the opening of the Wolverhampton Screen School where the British Art Show 9 was displayed before being packed up and sent to Manchester.  

This year is particularly exciting for the School of Art as they mark 170 years of Art and Design education at the University. 2023 also saw members of the Black Art Group team up with current students to celebrate 40 years since the first Black Art Convention at the School of Art. 

University students are currently working exceptionally hard to transform University studios into galleries alongside completing their final projects and portfolios which will be showcased during the event. 

The event will display work from the talented graduates from the School of Art in a range of areas.

The Wolverhampton School of Art Degree Show 2023 hosts a private opening night on Friday 9 June from 5.30pm until 8.30pm. The show will then be open Monday to Saturday from 10am until 4pm until Friday 23 June. All University staff and students are invited to attend the opening event on Friday 9 June for an evening of celebration.
