Facilities

Students in the Law School's mock courtroom.The School is based in the University's contemporary Mary Seacole Building (MH) and benefits from a range of specialist facilities to help you study.

Our large lecture theatre and all of our teaching rooms are equipped with high-tech audio visual equipment giving you a comfortable and stimulating environment in which to learn. You can also enjoy our dedicated social learning space complete with computers.

Courtroom

Law students can practise the art of litigation in our custom-built moot court room. Complete with judges’ bench, witness box and accommodation for the clerk of the court and counsel, you’ll experience first-hand what it’s like in a real court.

Seating is also available in the room for observers. The court room features purpose-built legal equipment, in addition to a projector and specialist acoustics.

The court room has been the setting for the regional schools mooting competition.
