Department of Civil Engineering

The Civil Engineering Department offers a comprehensive range of programmes to support students at every stage of their academic and professional journey, including HNC, Undergraduate, Degree Apprenticeship, and Postgraduate study.

 Students who study within the Department of Civil Engineering are taught at our £120m Springfield Super Campus, which features cutting-edge facilities including specialist engineering laboratories, a 125-seat lecture theatre, and flexible teaching and learning spaces.

 All of our courses are accredited by the Joint Board of Moderators (JBM), ensuring they meet industry standards and the requirements of our partners who have helped shape their content.

Graduates from our programmes have strong employment pathways within the Civil and Construction industry, including opportunities with large consultancies, contractors, and local authorities, both locally, nationally, and internationally.
