Digital gurus clearing the way for success
Digitally minded students will be answering questions and providing advice as part of A-Level results day at the University of Wolverhampton.
A team of eight current students have been enlisted as Digital Ambassadors as part of the University’s Clearing campaign.
They will be answering queries and making offers via the University’s social media channels.
A new Digital Hub launched today (Monday, 12 August 2019) at the University’s City Campus and the students have received specialist training to support potential applicants.
Students across the country will receive their A-Level and BTEC results on Thursday (15 August 2019).
Rebecca Hollington, Head of UK Recruitment, said: “We are delighted to have a really enthusiastic team of students working as our Digital Ambassadors for the first time this year.
“They will be answering queries about how to apply, what courses are available and student life and even making offers on our social media channels.”
The University will also have 140 staff volunteers answering calls on the Clearing hotline number, 01902 518 585.
There is also information available on the Clearing website: www.wlv.ac.uk/clearing and there will be an Open Day on Saturday, 17 August 2019 at the Wolverhampton, Walsall and Telford Campuses: www.wlv.ac.uk/opendays
