WLV Sport launches free activities to improve Mental Health

Throughout May, WLV Sport is running free sessions to improve mental health and well-being for all students during the exam period.

Taking part in physical activity and exercise is the perfect way to de-stress and unwind when you need it most.

Keeping your wellbeing a top priority, this month, WLV Sport is opening its Sports Centres free of charge on Wednesday afternoons exclusively for students to keep active.

Walsall Sports Centre: 2pm until 4pm
City Sports Centre: 4pm until 6pm

Over the next two weeks, WLV Sport will also be popping up at all three campuses to encourage students to participate in physical activities from 12pm until 2pm.

Wednesday 11 May - Telford Campus
Friday 13 May – City Campus
Tuesday 17 May – Telford Campus
Wednesday 18 May – City Campus
Thursday 19 May – Walsall Campus

On Wednesday 18th May, the team will also be hosting a free online workshop focussing on mental health and the benefits of being active to help improve your focus and reduce stress at University. The workshop will run from 2pm until 3pm on Teams.
