Christmas Jumper Day fundraiser success

In a heartwarming display of compassion and festive spirit, staff and students came together to raise an impressive £305 for Save the Children on Christmas Jumper Day.

The charitable event, held on Thursday 7 December, saw participants donning their most dazzling and eccentric holiday sweaters, all in the name of supporting a noble cause.

Save the Children Christmas Jumper Day has become a cherished tradition, encouraging people to embrace the holiday season while making a positive impact on the lives of children in need. This year's fundraiser in the Law school surpassed all expectations as the community rallied to contribute to the global charity's initiatives.

The festive atmosphere was palpable as individuals arrived adorned in an array of colourful and creative Christmas jumpers, each outfit reflecting the unique and joyful spirit of the season. Laughter and smiles filled the hallways as participants showcased their festive fashion while proudly supporting Save the Children's mission to ensure a brighter future for children around the world.

The fundraising efforts were spearheaded by Senior Lecturer, Rebecca Mincher, who expressed gratitude for the overwhelming response from both staff and students.

The funds raised will go towards supporting Save the Children's vital programs, which include providing healthcare, education, and protection for children facing adversity. Every penny contributed by the Law school will play a crucial role in making a tangible difference in the lives of those who need it most.

As the festive season continues, the success of this charity event serves as a reminder that even in the midst of celebrations, the spirit of giving can shine brightly.
