COMPETITION: Win a signed Wolves shirt!
In celebration of the University’s 10 years of partnership with Wolves, we’re giving away a 2023/24 home shirt signed by the first team!
All you have to do to enter is head to the University’s Instagram page (@wlvuni) and like the competition photo, follow the account and leave a comment with the hashtag #WLV10
Full terms and conditions below:
- The Prize Draw is (subject to paragraph 2 below) open to any entrants aged 18 years or over, except employees of the University of Wolverhampton, Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club, (“Wolves”), or any of its affiliates, each of their families or agents or any third party directly associated with the administration of the competition.
- The Prize Draw is open to participants living in the UK only.
- The Prize Draw is free to enter, and no purchase is necessary.
- To enter the Prize Draw, participants must follow the @wlvuni Instagram page, like the competition photograph on Instagram and comment on the competition post using the hashtag #WLV10.
- The opening date/time for entries is 11:00 AM on Wednesday 14th February 2024 (UK time). The closing date/time of the Prize Draw is 11:00 AM on Wednesday 21st February 2024 (UK time). Entries received after this time will not be considered, but personal data supplied by the participant may still be processed in accordance with these terms and conditions and University of Wolverhampton privacy policy.
- A winner will be chosen by random draw on Friday 23rd February 2024 at 11:00AM (UK time). The winner will be contacted by Direct Message on Instagram. If the winner does not respond to the University of Wolverhampton within 48 hours of being notified that they have won, then the winner's prize will be forfeited, and the University will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
- The winner will receive one signed Wolves shirt and certificate of authenticity.
- The Prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
- By entering this Prize Draw you consent to the personal data being processed, which will include, without limitation, your name (first name and surname) and social media handle by the University of Wolverhampton to facilitate the Prize Draw and to distribute the Prize. If you are successful in the competition, the University’s Instagram account will request details of an address to deliver the Prize. If you do not consent to your personal data being processed in this way, you should not enter.
- The University of Wolverhampton must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the University will send the surname of the prize winner, as well as details of the Prize Draw to anyone who emails social@wlv.ac.uk. If you object to any or all of your surname being published or made available, please contact the University at social@wlv.ac.uk. In such circumstances, the University of Wolverhampton must still provide this information to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
- Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The University of Wolverhampton reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
- The University of Wolverhampton reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
- Insofar as is permitted by law, the University of Wolverhampton will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the University or that of its employees. Participants’ statutory rights are not affected.
- Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed as set out in these prize draw terms and conditions and in the University’s data protection policy. See also paragraph 6 with regards to the announcement of winners.
- The competition will be governed by English law and entrants to the competition submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
- This competition is organised and administered by the University of Wolverhampton.
