University students achieve sporting success across national championships

University of Wolverhampton students have showcased exceptional talent and dedication, achieving outstanding results in a range of individual sports competitions across the country.

In a remarkable display of skill, WLV Sport Scholar Rhyse Oliveri secured the gold medal in the Men’s FIG Level at the Trampoline and Double Mini Trampoline Championships held in Sheffield in February.

Continuing the University’s sporting success, Walsall Campus hosted the highly competitive BUCS Judo Championships in March. The event, which attracted over 350 students from universities nationwide, highlighted the high calibre of university-level Judo. University of Wolverhampton students not only competed but also gained invaluable experience in sports therapy, event photography, and event planning.
