Forces and Magnets

During this session, students will engage in a hands-on exploration of forces and how they impact the movement of objects. Additionally, they will investigate the interaction between magnets, specifically the attraction and repulsion between the north and south poles. To apply their understanding, students will be divided into three groups and tasked with completing three challenges related to forces and magnets. The ultimate goal for each group is to finish these tasks within a given time frame in order to unlock a treasure chest.

Each session is 50 minutes in duration and can accommodate one class. A maximum of 3 sessions can be provided in one day.

This session links in with the national curriculum in the following ways
