Keep fit and meet some new friends at Telford parkrun. Taking place in Telford Town Park every Saturday at 9am, it’s a free, fun, and friendly weekly 5k community event. Whether you want to walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate – it's up to you! 

PureGym, situated conveniently near Telford Southwater, is a 24-hour fitness facility. With memberships starting at just £15.99 with an additional 30% off for students, PureGym is a cost-effective and convenient option for fitting in a workout session around your studies.  

If cycling is more your thing, there is an abundance of trails and cycle routes in and around the local area, such as the Silkin Way, a local 14-mile scenic green corridor route.  

If you don’t have your own bike, we recommend checking out Telford Bike Hub, located in Telford Town Park. With bike and scooter hire available from 10am – 4pm daily, we think it’s a great way to get in some exercise and take in the local sights!  

One for the adrenaline junkies is Telford Snowboard and Ski Centre. Home to an all-weather 85-metre outdoor dry slope, there is skiing, snowboarding, tubing and tobogganing activities on offer.
