Response:  

In accordance with Section 1(1) (a) of the FOI Act, I can confirm that the University does hold the requested information in part and I have decided to disclose the requested information, which exists, in full.  

Information pertaining to part of your request cannot be disclosed as this information does not exist. Information pertaining to Questions 2, 4, 5 and 6 does not exist. This decision has been made after all reasonable steps have been taken to located the above-referenced information. Whilst I acknowledge that it is the principle object of the Act to provide public access to documents, I am satisfied that the above-referenced requested information does not exist.  

In December 2016/January 2017 the University installed a new fleet of MFD’s throughout its campuses, none of which have a fax facility. Prior to this, there were a number of existing MFD’s that had a fax facility. 

  1. The University is not aware of any operating fax machines on its premises.
