Welcome to the latest Chaplaincy news

Firstly, can you help? Christian celebrations for Christmas

After the success of Diwali prayer and cultural activities led by Hindu students but open to all, Christian students and staff are asked to create a celebration of Christmas from a Christian perspective.

If you would like to get involved with preparing a celebration for Christmas at the Chaplaincy including a time of worship please email sarah.schofield@wlv.ac.uk.

Help choose our next Muslim Chaplain

Last year our Muslim Chaplain left us for a new role, so we are advertising for a new person to fill that position. Students are asked to volunteer to join in the process of choosing our new Muslim Chaplain by joining a panel to talk with candidates on Tuesday 19 December. We obviously want to involve Muslim students but need a variety of perspectives so hope to involve students who understand the importance of Chaplaincy but who might not be Muslim. Places are limited so email Lead Chaplain Sarah as soon as possible to offer to help. You will need to be available all day on 19 December and make time to meet with Sarah to discuss why you would like to help.
