Copilot Chat

What is Copilot Chat?

Copilot Chat is similar to other AI tools like ChatGPT and Gemini. Staff and students can use it with their University Microsoft 365 account.

Copilot Chat is built into Microsoft 365 apps like Outlook and Teams. Look for the Copilot icon to open it. When you use it in these apps, you will already be signed in, and it will recognise your account.

You will also see a green shield icon. This means your data is private and protected, just like in other Microsoft 365 apps.
