Email for Staff and Students

Log into your email

Outlook for email and calendar

 

We use Microsoft 365 for our University email

The University provides Microsoft apps such as Outlook for email and calendar, Word for documents, OneDrive for storing and sharing files, and Teams for chat and video. Staff and students can use these on University devices and students can use them on their own PC or laptop.

From any device, simply log into https://office.com/apps with your University email address and password. Once logged in you will land on a screen that displays all the application icons. Simply select and open.

STUDENTS! If you would like to add Microsoft 365 to your PC or laptop, you can do this for up to 5 separate personal devices. Once logged into MS 365 with your University email, you will notice a tab at the top right of your window that says 'Install Apps'. Select the first option 'Microsoft 365 apps' and follow the on-screen steps to install and run.

If using a tablet or mobile phone

You can access all of the Microsoft 365 suite by installing the individual applications from your usual app store.

Checking your emails

It's useful for students to know that you will receive emails separately in both MS 365 and Canvas. Please check both regularly.
