Multifactor authentication (MFA)
If you get prompted with the multifactor authentication screen, asking for more information from you, please click the 'Next' button on the screen and follow the steps to set this up using your mobile phone.
Reset your password
If you have an issue with your University password, you can reset this yourself if you have set up MFA, and have your mobile phone with you. For more information about your password visit wlv.ac.uk/password
Email us or help yourself using the portal (you will need to sign in)
You can raise a call for support, ask a question or help yourself to information about services like MS 365, software, wifi, passwords using the IT Support Portal.
You can also email firstname.lastname@example.org during the working hours of 8am to 5pm, Monday-Friday.
Each call you raise with us will trigger an automated email confirmation with a reference number like this - INC1234567. You can see any open calls with us when you sign into the portal.
Any queries you raise will be managed by our support team, who will be in touch by email, phone or Teams to resolve your issue.
